Video of the 9th powerful Advantage “CFC-Fixtures make automated part handling possible” by High Temperature Concept
Today I, Dr. Jorg Demmel, like to introduce the Advantage Number 9 of CFC Fixtures in a video world premiere. In total there are 10 Advantages I like to share with you.
“𝗖𝗙𝗖-𝗙𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀-𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲. 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝘅𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀.”
Please see for yourself by watching the video, which provides unique insights in the world of CFC-Fixtures and Racks and handling automation.
CFC is a unique material with properties never reached.
The Coefficient of thermal expansion, short C.T.E. value, is around zero. CFC doesn’t change dimensions and form in technical vacuum and inert gas atmospheres.
Even extreme thermal shocks don't weak Carbon Fiber Reinforced Carbon (CFC). If you are using technical oil quenching media or High Pressure Cooling technology, CFC Fixtures are the best choice.
If you have any concerns, e.g. about oil ab- or desorption due to some open porosity of CFC, let's talk - we have after 30 years of experience for many challenges an effective and efficient solution.
Furthermore, CFC is not creeping at high temperatures under load and not aging caused e.g. by carburizing furnace atmospheres. Vacuum and inert gases are CFCs best friends.
CFC is first Fixture material I know which allows easy and reliable automatic handling in heat treatment processes. Up to fully integrated material flow solutions between soft and hard machining.
At High Temperature Concept, we’re excited about how CFC-Fixtures can revolutionize heat treatment operations across industries. If you’re looking to save energy, improve product quality, and reduce cycle times, exploring CFC technology could be the next big step for your shop.

The initial photo shows a robot application for Lemken, Germany we realized with partners at the Fraunhofer institute in 2001, some CFC was used as well, but, not CFC Racks needed. Other applications I am not allowed to publish.
